European software maker Neolane Inc. reports opening a North American headquarters in the Boston area.
The France-based Neolane, which develops marketing software, has opened a 12-person office in Newton, company officials report.
Founded in France in 2001, Neolane employs more than 70 workers.
The company produces software for marketing-campaign management and multi-channel communications, including direct mail, email and text messaging. Customers include Paris-based Accor Hotels, EMI Music, a division of California's EMI Group Inc., and beauty product retailer Sephora, according to the company.
